Friday, October 21st, singer-songwriter Alessia Cara returned to Dallas for her second headlining tour this year. The event was held at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, though she's performed at the likes of Lower Greenville's Granada Theatre and Dallas' AT&T stadium. Openers, Nathan Sykes (formerly of The Wanted) and Ruth B, left their mark in the city before leaving the crowd anxious for what was to come.

After releasing her 2015 debut album, Know-It-All, heading out on her first tour, opening for Coldplay, then heading back on the road for another headlining show, you could say Alessia Cara is killing it for a 20-year-old. Though no new singles have been released, she has managed to hop on to a few others, including JoJo's "I Can Only" and Troye Sivan's re-released "Wild."
She's managed to switch up her set pretty well. Of course, with the upgrade of a bigger venue, electronic visuals, and more lights, it's hard not to. All her hits, including "Scars To Your Beautiful" and "Wild Things," weren't left behind as she slipped in a cover of Frank Ocean's "Swim Good." When it came time for her debut single, "Here," she surprised the crowd by stopping midway and announcing she had a new verse to add in. Now, the mystery is whether or not it'll get a studio re-release.
Tour ends next week, in Toronto, before she hits select cities for iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball, so grab tickets if you can!
