Film is something you don’t see people master very often, but is slowly making way back through the lives of Instagrammers as with most things that were popular back in the day. Additionally, music festivals are something from the good ole days making a strong comeback.. With hundreds of music festivals happen all over the world now, we really like to step back and focus on the reason these festivals started… To bring music lovers alike together for a weekend with nothing but good vibes and great tunes. Euphoria Music Festival, a 5th year festival veteran, sends its main message as “Find Your Euphoria.”
There’s always some kind of weird sense of happiness and security when your favorite festival announces the official dates for the next year. You leave the festival this year thinking about how you just had the best weekend of your life and wish you could press rewind. There’s so many festivals leaving us and so many new ones popping up that there’s really just a huge grey area. When the official dates are announced and blind presale tickets are released for that one favorite festival, it’s like you know for sure that you will get to relive that one weekend of pure greatness at least one more time.
Each year, it just keeps getting better and better.
This year marks the sixth year anniversary of the creative, natural, electronic music festival, and this year’s line up is creating a lot of hype. With headliners The String Cheese Incident, Bassnectar, and Major Lazer, it’s no wonder that this year’s festival is sold out. Previous alumni of this beautiful festival include Tiesto, Skrillex, Flume, Kaskade, ZEDD, and Steve Angelo.
Euphoria is a festival not quite like any other. I mean, of course every festival is different in their own way, but we really mean it this time. Taking place at Carson Creek Ranch just outside of Austin, Texas, the festival attracts tens of thousands of ravers every April to see some of the best live EDM that happens in a single festival. This year the festival boasted a completely stacked lineup with Bassnectar, Dillon Francis, GRiZ, Above & Beyond, Crizzly, Cherub, Loudpvck, Big Wild, and SNBRN being amongst some of not only our favorites, but festival favorites.
This year, JMBLYA returns to the festival lineup for its fourth year in a row. The two-day event, hosted by Scoremore, first takes place on May 13, in Dallas, moving from Deep Ellum to Fair Park. On the following day, the event is to be held in Austin, moving from Whitewater Amphitheater to Austin American-Statesman. The turn up includes Future at the top of the bill and features Kevin Gates, DJ Carnage, and Keith Ape, with special guest, Post Malone.
Here are the other acts we’re excited to see perform this year:
You’d be thought of as crazy if you told us you have never heard the “Foster The People - Best Friends (Wave Racer Remix)” played in the middle of a very heavy bass or trap DJ set. The track is a fan favorite amongst majorities, produced by the Sydney-based DJ and producer Wave Racer. If you check out his SoundCloud, the sound waves on nearly every track quite legitimately look like waves. The producer’s songs are generally future remixes of popular songs along with many original productions.
Hit his page and get a feel for his sound, you’ll soon realize exactly how popular this dude is and you didn’t even know it!
